1. General Settlement All tournament and match markets will be settled on the official tournament results/match scorecards. If there is no result available, then the website www.cricinfo.com will be used for settlement purposes. A batsman that retires from an innings will not be considered as a wicket for settlement purposes. The term "innings reaching its natural conclusion" refers to an innings which has not be closed by external factors such as rain or bad light. A team being bowled out or declaring is considered to be reaching its natural conclusion. If a match is cancelled before any play has taken place, then all bets will be void, unless the match is replayed within 48 hours of its advertised start time, in this case the bets will stand.
2. One Day Match Result market is resulted at the end of the match. In the event that the teams are tied at the end of One Day Match then this market will be treated as a Dead-heat and the dead heat rule will be applied. If the event is declared a 'no result' then this market will be resulted as void.
3. Twenty20 Match Result market is resulted at the end of the match. In the event that the teams are tied at the end of Twenty20 Match then this market will be treated as a Dead-heat and the dead heat rule will be applied. If the event is declared a 'no result' then this market will be resulted as void.
4. First Class (4 day)/Test Match Result market is resulted at the end of the match. Test match results can be settled on 4 options. Team A, Team B, Tie or Drawn. Should a match end in a draw wagers on Team A, Team B and Tie will be deemed as losing selections. If the event is declared a 'no result' then this market will be resulted as void.
5. First Class (4 day)/Test Match Draw No Bet market is resulted at the end of the match. In the event that the match ends in a draw at the end of 5 Day Match then this market will be resulted as void. If the event is declared a 'no result' then this market will be resulted as void.
6. Fixed price Team With Most Run Outs/ Most Sixes markets are resulted at the end of the match. If the event is declared a 'no result' then this market will be resulted as void. Should both teams finish with the same number of Run Outs/Sixes dead heat rules apply. Bets will be voided if either innings does not reach its natural conclusion.
7. Fixed price First Innings Lead/Highest Opening Partnership markets are resulted at the end of the first Inning. In the event that the teams are tied at the end of the first Inning then this market will be treated as a Dead-heat and dead heat rules apply.
8. Fixed price Top Match Batsman/Top Match Bowler markets are resulted at the end of the first Inning. If the match is suspended before completion of the first innings then then the market will be resulted as void. Players who are in the starting 11 but do not bat will be settled as losers. Please note that Dead-heat rules apply.
9. Spread Betting Team Match Line This is a bet that this team will win the match by more than the specified line. Each Run this team wins/loses by = 1 point. Each Wicket this team wins/loses by = 10 points. If either team's innings is reduced by more than 5 overs from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void. If a team's total is scaled to accommodate for the reduction in overs, bets will be settled as per this revised score. A batsman retirement does not count as a wicket lost. In the event that a Super Over is required to decide the outcome of the match, Match Line bets will result at 0.
10. Team Total Runs In matches where PointsBet offers betting on the Team Total Runs for both teams then all bets placed on the second innings runs will stand regardless of the score achieved by the side batting first. If either team's innings is reduced (less than 20 overs) due to external factors (such as rain), all bets shall be void regardless of the final total made by the team.
11. Player Runs This market will stand providing the batsman reaches the crease. Should the player retire hurt, or remain not out, his score at the conclusion of the innings shall determine settlement of bets. If either team's innings is reduced by more than 5 overs from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void regardless of how many runs are hit prior to or after any announced reduction in overs. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion. Bets will stand if the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs. Bets placed on any player not named in the starting eleven are void. The same rules apply to each player in a player Duo or Trio market.
12. Player Strike Rate This market will stand providing the batsman reaches the crease. Should the player retire hurt, or remain not out, his strike rate at the conclusion of the innings shall determine settlement of bets. If either team's innings is reduced by more than 5 overs from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void regardless of how many runs are hit prior to or after any announced reduction in overs. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion. Bets will stand if the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs. Bets placed on any player not named in the starting eleven are void. Bet is settled to nearest whole number.
13. Bowler Economy Rate This market will stand providing the bowler bowls at least one complete over. If the bowler is unable to complete an over (provided at least 1 has been bowled), his economy rate at the conclusion of the innings shall determine settlement of bets. If either team's innings is reduced by more than 5 overs from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void regardless of how many runs are hit prior to or after any announced reduction in overs. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion. Bets will stand if the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs. Bets placed on any player not named in the starting eleven are void. Bet is settled to nearest one decimal place.
14. Player Performance Points are given as follows: 1 run = 1 point, 1 catch = 10 points, 1 wicket = 20 points, 1 stumping = 25 points. A player does not need to reach the crease for bets to be determined, however they need to be named in the starting 11. Bets will be void if the total number of overs for either team is reduced by more than 5 overs due to external factors (such as bad weather) unless the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs.
15. Bowler Balls to First Wicket Bowler must at least bowl 1 complete over. The wicket ball is included in number of balls for settlement. Only legal balls are included. Runouts do not count towards the bowler's wickets. Bet will be settled at last ball bowled if bowler does not get a wicket (e.g. if a Bowler does not get a wicket and has bowled 4 overs, bet will settle at 24). Bets will be void if the total number of overs for either team is reduced due to external factors (such as bad weather) unless the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs.
16. Bowler Wickets Bowler must at least bowl 1 complete over. Bets will be void if the total number of overs for either team is reduced by more than 5 overs due to external factors (such as bad weather) unless the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs.
17. Wicketkeeper Dismissals A dismissal for a wicketkeeper is defined as either a catch or a stumping. A run-out involvement does not count as a dismissal. If either team's innings is reduced by more than 5 overs from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion. Bets will stand if the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs. Bets placed on any player not named in the starting eleven are void.
18. Runs Per Specified Number of Overs (e.g. 1st 6 Overs) If the innings reaches its natural conclusion before the specified number of overs are completed, bets will be settled on final score. Bets will be void if the total number of overs for either team is reduced at all due to external factors (such as bad weather) unless the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs.
19. Balls to Specified Number of Runs (e.g. Balls to 50). If the innings reaches its natural conclusion before the specified number of balls are bowled, bets will be settled on final delivery number of the ball bowled. Bets will be void if the total number of overs for either team is reduced at all due to external factors (such as bad weather) unless the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs. Only legal balls will be counted (balls which are not wides or no-balls). If specified runs are not made, bet will settle at max loss for under bets and max win for over bets.
20. Specified Over Lines (e.g. 6 Over Line.) Both teams must play the specified number of overs for the bet to stand. Bets will be void if the total number of overs for either team is reduced at all due to external factors (such as bad weather) unless the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs.
21. Over/Under Total Match Sixes/Fours If either team's innings in a T20 overs match is reduced from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void regardless of how many sixes/fours are hit prior to or after any announced reduction in overs. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion.
22. Over/Under Team Match Sixes/Fours If either team's innings in a T20 overs match is reduced from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void regardless of how many sixes/fours are hit prior to or after any announced reduction in overs. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion. Bets will stand if the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs.
23. Team Boundary Runs Percentage If either team's innings is reduced from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion. Bets will stand if the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs.
24. Fall of First Team Wicket (Opening Partnership) Should no wickets fall in the innings then this market will be settled on the score at the conclusion of the innings. Should the innings be shortened due to any reason other than it reaching its natural conclusion then all unequivocally decided bet will be settled while all other shall be void.
25. Balls to First Wicket Lost Should no wickets fall in the innings then this market will be settled on the number of balls faced at the conclusion of the innings. Bets will be void if the total number of overs for either team is reduced at all due to external factors (such as bad weather) unless the outcome has been determined prior to the reduction in overs. Only legal balls will be counted (balls which are not wides or no-balls).
26. Max Runs / Over - This market will be settled on the greatest number of runs scored (including any extras) in any one over of the first innings of the match. Bets will be void if the total number of overs for either team is reduced at all due to external factors (such as bad weather).
27. Match Run-outs If either team's innings is reduced from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion.
28. Match Wides If either team's innings is reduced from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion.
29. Match Highest Scorer If either team's innings is reduced from the original allocation of overs then all bets on this market shall be void. Bets will stand if either innings is shortened due to it reaching its natural conclusion.
30. Super Over/Any additional overs above the allotted amount In a T20 competition which employs a super over (or other such initiative) to determine the winner of a match in the event of a tie, runs scored in the Super over are not included in the settlement of any markets (e.g. Batsmen Total Runs, Team Total Runs, Team and Match Sixes).
31. Multipliers involving any of the above markets In the case of matches being reduced due to external factors (such as weather), Multiplier markets which consist of any combination of the above markets will take on all restrictions of each component market of the multiplier and subsequently void should all qualifying factors not be met. For example "Player Performance * Team 6s" will be void in the case of any weather shortened games (unless result is already determined) due to the strict conditions of the "Team 6s" Multiplier.
32. Player specific markets For any player specific market, the player must be named in the starting 11 for bets to stand.
