Here are some common NFL Live Market Betting Terms that can be a bit confusing compared to normal fixed odds and standard props:
HALFTIME / FULL TIME: Who will win the game at halftime vs the entire game
WINNING MARGIN: A winning margin bet is a wager on the final outcome on a game within a certain range of points - so choosing the team who will win in addition to by how many points they will win by. Think of this as a more precise version of a moneyline bet because you are narrowing down how much a team will win by.
For Example: If you are betting on Team X to win by a margin of 1-6 points, they will need to win from anywhere between a 1-6 point difference.
1ST / 2ND / 3RD / 4TH QUARTER TEAM TO WIN TO NIL: This type of betting refers to making two wagers: One being that a team will "win" the quarter by having more than 0 points in the quarter AND another being that the other team will score 0 for the quarter. BOTH outcomes have to be met for this bet to payout.
For Example: If you are placing a 1st Quarter Team X to Win to Nil, Team X will need to "win" the quarter by having some sort of points on the board by the end of the quarter AND their opponent (Team Y) must have a score of 0 by the end of the quarter for this bet to be a winner.
NEXT TD SCORER (2ND - 20TH): After the first touchdown is scored, bettors have the option to bet on who will be the next scorer on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. touchdowns in the game.
