Pay with Online Banking directly into your PointsBet account. Online Banking is a convenient alternative to credit cards, which allows you to make or receive payment by signing in to your bank without leaving the merchant. It's simple and safe — no card or bank account numbers to provide, and your bank password is never stored and cannot be seen by the merchant.

Congratulations! Your Deposit will be instantly deposited into your account and you will be able to start playing with your funds.

It can take up to 3 business days for the funds to be debited by the processor from your bank account. Please ensure you have enough funds available to cover the deposit over that time period to avoid a 'Retry Payment' fee at a later time.
This does not affect the availability of the funds in your PointsBet account. Once the deposit is accepted by the processor they are available immediately to be bet with.
-
If you do not see your bank as an available option you will not be able to use this deposit method at that time. Please look for another deposit method that we have listed.
However, please contact PointsBet Customer Support with the name of your bank. We will pass it along to the processor so it can be added in the future.

There are various reasons why the deposit may not go through using Online Banking. The below suggestions are ways to correct a possible failed deposit. If none of the below have worked. Please contact our Customer Service team via Live Chat or Email and they can help facilitate your deposit.
1. Delete and re-enter your banking information within the app. This normally establishes connection between your mobile banking app and our processor.
2. Check your bank account for pending transactions. A withdrawal from your bank to your PointsBet Canada account will not be processed if there are pending transactions in your bank account that would draw the remaining balance below the amount you are attempting to withdraw. This would result in a declined withdrawal. One way to fix this issue is to attempt withdrawing a lesser amount.
3. Try depositing in smaller increments. If you have tried multiple times to deposit an amount with no avail, the way to offset that would be to deposit the desired amount in increments rather than all at once. For example if you are trying to deposit $100, try depositing in increments of $25 or $50.
4. Please make sure you are on WiFi and have location services enabled for PointsBet Canada on your device.

On your bank statement if you see this charge it is normally accompanied by text reading 'Retry Payment'. This means when you initially made your deposit you did not have the funds available in your account to cover the transaction. The processor will wait a period of time before attempting the debit again and then charge a 'Retry Payment' fee of $30.
This is not being charged by PointsBet.

NOTE: This is the least successful way to deposit funds on site. Not all banks allow transactions with online gaming providers. If it does not go through it is likely declined by your bank and you will need to try another method.
Congrats! Your funds will appear immediately if accepted and you can now bet!

Yes, gift cards are accepted. However, you will likely incur the same issue as you would with a debit/credit card. The banks/processors who control those gift cards do not always allow Online Gaming transactions. If the deposit does not go through it is likely being declined by the issuer.
-
When using a Credit Card, you are subject to being charged a cash advance fee. This is not PointsBet Canada charging this fee, this is the issuing bank charging a cash advance fee on the deposit you've made. You will have to reach out to them for an explanation.
-
When you receive this message, it means that the address you have on file with PointsBet Canada does not match the billing address you have on file with your Debit/Credit card provider.
To rectify, you will need to send an email to verify@pointsbet.com with a clear photo of an ID (passport or driver's license) AND a proof of residence (phone bill, bank statement or utility bill) issued within the last 90 days with the date of the document visible in the photo. The team can then update your address on file to match.
After the update you can try again. There is no guarantee this will rectify the issue and your transaction may still be declined by the issuing bank. We highly suggest using our Online Banking method instead.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to include the full Driver’s license number with the letter if applicable.

Our ACH processor, Global Payments, sets an individual limit on how much can be deposited for every user on site. This is not controlled by PointsBet and is based on your previous history with the processor if you have one.
You can reach out to Global Payments at 800-500-1973 and ask if they can raise your limit. Although, they may be unable to at that exact moment, they can provide you with the needed steps to receive an increase.

Yes, you can only deposit $500 per day with Pay Near Me in total. So if you deposit $200 with another retailer you will only be able to deposit $300 on PointsBet for the rest of that 24 hour period but you can use different locations.
-
If you do not receive the funds you deposited on your PointsBet account within that 30 minute time period, please contact PointsBet support so we can look into this issue for you. Our live chat and email links are located at the bottom of the PointsBet page on the app or website.
